Ram, you don't
have to explain
nothing to Rob
Graham or any PNC 'diehard'
supporters.
They all are aware
of what the PNC
regime did to
Guyana and it's
people primarily
the East Indians.

[Guyanese] GUYANA
IS FOR SALE !!

Rob, I know
personally of
LFSB's
actions because my
father was the
official of the
company who was
forced to sign
over the property
at Bellfield
on behalf of the Kissondyal
brothers
who not only owned
the Bellfield
estates,
they owned land in
Mahaicony Creek
and they also
owned Woodlands
Hospital. For your
information, they
were faced with a
file that
indicated they
owed the Guyana
Treasury $1.5
million dollars in
for 1969-1970.

Mrs.
Viola Burnham with
her husband,
President
Forbes Burnham
at the Residence
shortly after he
took the Oath of
Office to become
the first elected
President under
Guyana's new
Constitution in
1980
At the outset they
had agreed to sell
just the piece of
land alongside the
road. When the
time came for them
to receive their
payment, they were
invited to the
Bellfield
residence and
shown this file.
The family had
paid their taxes
but suddenly they
were faced with
imprisonment
without trial or
forfeit the
payment in
addition to the
rest of the
Bellfield Estate.
Rob, if you
think I am
accusing you
personally then I
respectfully
apologize but the
point I am trying
to make is that
worst crimes were
committed and no
one jumped up and
commented. And in
the article the
President was
accused of not
taking action yet
he stopped a
proposed trip and
the man has lost
his job. By the
way Rob, in the
Industrial world
where democracy is
allowed to
function at its
peak, accusations
are made against
many government
officials who upon
investigation are
cleared of any
wrong doing but
they do resign
their positions of
authority in order
to allow for a
proper
investigation and
not to hamper the
work of the
governing
administration. No
time is their
resignation a
reflection of
guilt.
That my friend
is my personal
knowledge because
I was standing
there when it
transpired.
Have a great day.

Mr. Graham, a
rather interesting
article however
the insinuations
should be backed
up with proof. But
in typical PNC
form, you
promulgate and
instigate then run
and hide. It is
interesting that
you claim this man
to be the largest
land owner - where
were you and your
co-horts when LFSB
and Viola were
stealing the
properties of hard
working Guyanese.
This man at least
he paid for the
land - I would
hope so - but LFSB
actually provided
trumped up
documents claiming
outstanding taxes,
etc., and force
the hand-over of
land - Bellfield
Estate is one,
Letter
"T"
state is another.
Mr. Odit may
not be a Saint and
he should be dealt
with legally if he
has done wrong. Of
course the
officials should
investigate his
actions but please
don't make
statements (or
support them)
without providing
the documents to
back up those
statements. The
insinuation is
that the President
does no! thing yet
later in the
statement one
discovers that he
gets credit for
canceling
transactions based
in India!!!
Trinidadians like
all others who
want to invest in
Guyana should be
welcome. Your
associates ensured
that the other
investors leave
Guyana by
Nationalizing
everything,
bankrupting them
and when democracy
came to the fore
there was the
launch of
"march and
burn"
actions.
By the way, some
of your associates
already imported
the Trini exercise
- kidnap for
ransom; so what is
the problem if
some legitimate
business investors
desire to invest
in Guyana!!!!!
